2015 TTQ Logo 251X186TTQ is a high energy, interactive 9 program designed exclusively for boys 3rd-5th grade! It encourages them to explore and develop their individuality and strengths.  The goal of the TTQ program is to increase boys' health and wellness while preventing high risk behaviors through physical activity and training.  Participants will be challenged physically as they train for a 5K (3.1 mile) run.

They also learn to develop a healthy lifestyle, to build positive relationships, to set goals, to make healthy choices, and to be valued for who they are.

Our coaches are committed volunteers who have completed program training, CPR/First Aid certification, central registry clearance and background checks.

Practices include:

  • Healthy snack (donations appreciated)

  • Curriculum based activity and games

  • Strength and stretching exercises

  • Training for the 5K

Curriculum-based program overview:

  • Teams consist of approximately 10-15 boys for every 2 coaches

  • A family focused kick-off event is held at the start of each season

  • The season consists of 18 practice sessions which last 90 minutes immediately following school dismissal (teams practice at participating schools)

  • Each season ends with a final 5K event
